Over 30 years ago the Astrodome in Houston was being dubbed the eighth wonder of the world. Well what was great is now old and the Astrodome has since been replaced.
Well, Jerry Jones has built what some are calling the new "No. 8 and eight and a half." If you've seen this place, you'd agree. The Cowboys are set to play their first ever game in their new digs tonight and it should be a great event.
I don't know about you, but as a sports fan, I always like checking out new stadiums. Especially these days, there is always some new feature a stadium gets when it's built.
For Cowboys Stadium, it's the worlds largest HD TV. This thing stretches from 20 yard-line to 20 yard-line.

It is also 25 yards tall and there is also some smaller ones. Here's a couple stories for you to check out on the new spot, too.
This one is about the Grand Opening concert which featured George Strait and Reba McEntire.
This one looks at what the players are thinking about heading into tonight and the massiveness.
I also found this cool video. Paul McCartney played at the stadium Wednesday night and the crew turned the place into a football field over night. Pretty impressive.
Check the stats on this place. They can fit the Statue of Liberty inside the joint. Whoa!
Also in NFL notes, Chad Ochocinco kicked off and booted an extra point last night. Check this out. With kicker Shayne Graham getting hurt, Chad made a case to coach Marvin Lewis to let him give it a shot and coach let him. Here's the story. And here's the video (Couldn't embed it, sorry). Very Impressive Chad. Maybe he's got something that can keep him in Cincy or will at least help raise his trade value.
In a totally non sports video, Luke showed me this today. Too good to pass up. For the guys out there. Be sure to check this. Apologies for the language.
Now for your favorite part of the show, the Nussie Hunter. Figured since we were talking about new Cowboys Stadium, this would be the perfect time to show off some of the amazing Cowboys Cheerleaders. Our friend today is Christina Parker.
If you're keeping score, that's the second team's cheerleaders the Nussie Hunter has featured. If you count Chris Cooley's wife, Christina, that's three teams. All I can say is, it's going to be a good NFL season.
"Keeping Your Refridgerator Stocked" made my night. Hillarious!
