It's Wednesday and there seems to be a growing need to keep critiquing and rehashing Sunday's awful showing by Jay Cutler and his alleged "so what" attitude in the post game.
First we have guys like Jim Mora, Sr. and Mike Martz going on NFL Network and saying how it's the worst thing he could have done.
He's kind of getting the Eli Manning "aww shucks" rip for shrugging things off after the loss and leaving it on the field.
I know people rip on him all the the time for his yelling and going a bit wild on the field, but in the press conference, come on.
I mean, that's where I have the problem. He needs to stay cool on the field because that's where things can go haywire. It's like my man David Haugh wrote today in the Chicago Tribune, he gets upset and tries to make up for three interceptions by forcing a throw and he's got another one. That, my friends needs to get fixed.
With the Steelers coming to town this week, going to need everything we can get out of Jay if the game is going to even be close.
Now to some good stuff of the. We'll start with this Kanye thing that just won't die. Turns out now that President Obama has a soundbite on the matter. Take a listen.
Found this one on today's SI.com Hot Clicks. And while it deals with the Patriots, we all know the words to the Cheers theme...
Now for some heartfelt goodness. If you haven't seen it yet, a dad in Philly made a great catch on a foul ball and in one motion handed to his 3-year-old daughter who delivers the ball to the section below. Since MLB doesn't allow embeding, be sure to check the video and story, here. Be sure to check tomorrow's Today Show where the family will be on with an alleged surprise waiting for them.
Now for today's Nussie Hunter and it's a girl associated with the start of the new sports season. I'm a hockey fan and have been since meeting up with my aunt and uncle when I was a kid in Dubuque. Well, Carrie Milbank is the girl of the NHL as the host of NHL TV. She also does some work with a little site called Tennis Week and covered the US Open in the last couple weeks.
