Yep, I became a total star sucker Saturday night at the Great Lakes Championship Wrestling show at Romine's High Pockets in Milwaukee. Actually, I had a ball and it was great seeing some of the guys from days past in person.
I sat and muddled around for a bit before actually saying fuck it and ponying up the cash to get Sean "XPac" Waltman's autograph. Had a couple minutes to talk to him and he was pretty nice. Word is he's dating WWE Tough Enough 3 finalist Nidea. He seems to be doing well for himself these days, and leaving that outburst on VH1's Surreal Life in the past. Have to say I'm rooting for him to pull through. He's got a talent and if he keeps his bearings can still make a good living for himself and hopefully start a good family one day.
The night actually started with me and my boy, Bryan Emmer who got me the tix to the show, walking into the place WITH Demolition. That's right, one of, if not THE BEST tag team in WWF history. Yep, the night was going to be good from the start.

Now this was my first GLCW show I've been to, but I had heard of them. This is the same company that puts on Blizzard Brawl in the Milwaukee area and that is one of the best Indy shows in the Midwest, if not the country.
While this was on a bit smaller scale than I was used to seeing on TV (Probably close to 100 people in attendance) it was pretty sweet.

Actually, that guy with the belt there, sports talk radio host Steve "Sparky" Fifer, was part of one of both the low and high points of the night. The low point is that he holds the women's title. Actually though, he was pretty funny and who knew from listening to sports radio 1250 AM that he could pull off being a heel so well. Haha. I'll get to the high point of Sparky's high point in a minute.
Another highlight of the night was seeing Scotty 2 Hotty. To be honest I was sand bagging him a bit during the show (The announcer did call him one of the greats, which made me laugh.), but hey, I like a performer and he put on a show. It was good stuff. He played to the crowed very well and the match was good. Plus, seeing him up close after the show, I could see the guy must be a workout machine, so hey, keep on keeping on, man.
But Ok, now to the crowning moment of the night. Remember Sparky's high point? Well, I couldn't get a pic of her at the show to do her justice, but the woman that challenged Sparky was TNA Knockout Traci Brooks. And boys would you be impressed with her. So, I had the Nussie Hunter wrangle something up for you to show you her "assets." Enjoy!

With all do respect to Demolition, The Hart Foundation was the best tag team of all time!
